The Lunch Bunch- October 28th at 12PM in the Small Hall
Have some free time during the workday? Whether you’re retired, work a flexible schedule, or are simply available, join The Lunch Bunch for lunch, conversation, and fellowship. It’s a casual opportunity to connect, catch up, and enjoy a meal together. Everyone is welcome!
Community Clothing & Costume Swap - Saturday, October 17th, 10am -12pm
Join us at Oakton United Methodist Church for our FREE Community Clothing & Costume Swap on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM–noon!
Donations Needed: Clean, gently used clothing in all sizes and wearable Halloween costumes. Donations are welcome now, and the earlier you donate, the better! Please drop off your items at the church office Monday–Friday, between 9 AM and 2 PM.
Volunteers Needed: Help with setup, organizing tables, cleanup, and delivering leftover items to a donation facility. We’re also looking for hangers, clean shopping bags, and clothing racks to borrow.
HOST A TRUNK for Trunk or Treat - Saturday, October 24th from 3-5pm
Help make OUMC's Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 24th from 3-5pm a Spooktacular success!
We need TRUNK HOSTS (decorate your trunk or a parking space and purchase candy or treats to hand out) as well as general helpers to direct traffic, welcome visitors and monitor games.
Charge Conference 2026 and Potluck - October 25th after Worship in the Large Hall
Join us after Worship on Sunday, October 25 for a time of fellowship and our annual Charge Conference as we review and celebrate the past year and look ahead at the coming year!

Lamb Center Lunches
On the second Saturday of each month, OUMC works together to provide and serve lunch to the guests of the Lamb Center. The Lamb Center is a day shelter for the homeless in Fairfax County. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Angie Erschens.

Youth Group Meet-Ups
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month for Youth Group meet-ups! After worship, we'll walk to lunch together from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a post-lunch discussion. It's a great opportunity to connect and grow!
On the last Sunday of the month, we have fun outings like laser tag and escape rooms. Don’t miss out—invite your friends and join us for food, fun, and fellowship!
